Inception

Today’s exactly 6 years since I started my journey at KLR. In the 6th month of 2019, I became the 6th person in the Rovato office.

There was no marketing roadmap waiting, just square 1 and the quiet challenge of building something that mattered. The structure, logic, and processes we rely on today? They didn’t exist back then. They were built, lived into, sweated out.

And I’ll always be genuinely grateful to the people — you know who you are — who gave me that exact opportunity and trust to take that step then. That trust made me go all in. It turned this from “a job” into something I wanted to shape, protect, and grow, because when something matters to you, you naturally give more of yourself, you feel invested.

For quite a while, my name in the company was “marketing”. No one really tells you that building a function often means being the function.

You don’t just produce outcomes — you:define the logicshape the directiongive the work meaning.

I was the planner, the manager, the copywriter, the analyst, the researcher, the problem solver, the art director, you name it — often all on the same day.

Today, I manage a team, yes. But here’s what many don’t see: half of them joined just over a year ago.

Late nights? Yes.

Moments that felt heavy? Also yes.

It takes resilience to show up when the results live in a hypothetical future and the effort is silent.

And I am grateful for those moments!

And there’s something powerful about seeing your work live — in stores, across borders, in real life.

The first one I remember? Two months in, a radio ad in a language I did not completely understand but I’d written the script for.

Then different markets, different rules. Same core truth:

Creativity starts when the comfort zone ends. Success starts where the comfort zone ends. Growth starts where the comfort zone ends.

Each campaign launched was a reminder that this was never just a job. It was creation. Connection. Challenge. Great teamwork. And I was part of it. Wonderful.

And when I rolled the dice 6 years ago…I hit 6 points. 🎲 And then came the series of moments no one could’ve scripted. Not everything was built through structure and process. Some things were luck. Some were timing. High-stakes days. A little chaos. A lot of magic. Meeting the most incredible people. Some projects pass. People stay. Creating the impossible — and then doing it again. Seeing the result of months of work — live, in stores, across countries. The adrenaline? Unmatched. Traveling for work. Every flight, every meeting — expanding my world. Building memories that still make me smile in the most random moments.
